Duma speaker: EU is rude towards Serbia

ASTANA -- Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin said on Monday that an EU official's statement that Serbia must to join the sanctions against Russia was "rude and caddish."

Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved the agreement which would incorporate Armenia into the Eurasian Economic Council, according to radio Voice of Russia's website.

Armenia is the fourth country to enter the body also known as Eurasian Union which was established on May 29, 2014 in Kazakhstan's capital Astana.

Serbian students win Physics Olympiad medals

BELGRADE -- Five Serbian high school students that took part in the 45th International Physics Olympiad have won four medals and a commendation, it has been announced.

BELGRADE - The five-member student team representing Serbia in the 45th International Physics Olympiad for high school students won one silver and three bronze medals, and one honorable mention, the Belgrade-based Mathematical High School announced.

Kazakhstan and Belarus have rejected Russia's proposal that the the three countries jointly adopt a special system to receive Ukrainian goods.

President Nikolic wants Serbia in Asia

At the time when Serbia Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic is going to be at the meeting with the German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Serbia President Tomislav Nikolic shall be a host to Aleksandr Lukashenko, the President of Belarus.

Agreement signed establishing Eurasian Economic Union

ASTANA -- The presidents of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus signed an agreement on Thursday establishing the Eurasian Economic Union.

"It will will compete with the economic power of the U.S., EU, and China," said media reports.

The Presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan signеd on Thursday an agreement establishing the Eurasian Economic Council.

Kazakhstan's capital Astana saw the emerging of a 170-million-strong bloc in which free movement of goods, capital, services and working force are to be guaranteed.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday arrived in the Kazakh capital where he was set to sign a deal with his Kazakh and Belarussian counterparts creating a new economic union championed by Moscow.
      
Putin, Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko and Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev were due to sign the document in Astana following talks on Thursday.
