Bulgaria-Greece Gas Link Gets BGN 215 M in State Guarantee
Bulgaria's government is to issue guarantees worth BGN 215 M (EUR 109 M) for the Interconnector Greece-Bulgarai (IGB) project in 2016, the cabinet's press office has said.
The decision, announced at a Wednesday cabinet meeting, has turned IGB into the single state-guaranteed investment project for which the government will secure funding by taking out more loans.

Move over Amphipolis! Pylos tomb reveals rare rich grave of a warrior… Could it be a Homeric hero?
Archeologists at Pylos, on the southwest coast of Greece, uncovered a rich grave of a warrior buried there at the dawn of Europen civilization at around 1,500 BC. The warrior lies in the grave with a yardlong bronze sword and a collection of precious jewels, such as gold rings, as well as carved seals.

Calexico to perform in Greece
The famous band from Arizona, USA will visit Greece a few months after the release of their latest album ‘Edge Of The Sun’ for two concerts, one in Thessaloniki at Fix Factory of Sound on November 13 and one in Athens at Fuzz Live Music Club on November 17.
In some of the songs of the album the Greek sound is dominant, especially in Roll Tango hit with Eric Burton in vocals.

EU Commission Vice President says nothing about the tranche disbursement
The Vice President of the European Commission, Valdis Dombrovskis, said no three times to the Greek government during their meeting, while he said nothing about the disbursement of the 2 bln tranche, even though last week he had said that Athens will receive the money.
