NATO chief says climate change undermines global security

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Sunday stressed the need to fight global warming, and called climate change a "crisis multiplier" with implications for global security.

He made the remarks during a press conference in Baku along with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, whose energy-rich country is set to host the COP29 U.N. Climate Change Conference in November.

FM says South Caucasus has potential for 'common prosperity'

The Turkish Foreign Ministry has criticized the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) for not ratifying the credentials of the Azerbaijani National Delegation.

In a written statement on Feb. 16, the ministry expressed Türkiye's regret that the credentials of the Azerbaijani National Delegation were not ratified by the PACE.
