Russian President Vladimir Putin has called Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an to congratulate him on the ruling Justice and Development Party?s (AKP) success in the country?s critical June 7 election, which resulted in the AKP winning 40 percent of the votes but laying aside a single party government option.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Konstantinos Koutras referred to the level of Greek participation at the European Games in Baku in response to a journalist’s question on a report from the Azerbaijan Press-Release Agency (APA):

Turkish Airlines will add seven new direct foreign flight destinations from Turkey's capital Ankara beginning from Oct. 1, 2015, officials said on May 14.

The exercises would continue until May 17 and were being held within the framework of a military cooperation agreement between Turkey and Azerbaijan, it said.
