Erdogan to visit breakaway state in northern Cyprus
Newly re-elected Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to visit the breakaway state in Turkish-occupied northern Cyprus on Monday, as reported by Turkish media.
Erdoğan to embark on 1st foreign visits to Turkish Cyprus, Azerbaijan
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is set to embark on his first foreign visits following his reelection in the May 28 polls to Turkish Cyprus and Azerbaijan, in a bid to discuss bilateral ties and steps to improve cooperation.
In his first visit on June 12, Erdoğan will meet with Turkish Cypriot President Ersin Tatar and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel.
Women’s taekwondo national team becomes world champion
At the 2023 World Taekwondo Championships held in Azerbaijan, Türkiye has achieved a historical success as the country ranked first in the women's national team to become champions, winning the world championship as a team for the first time.
The World Championship held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, with the participation of 949 athletes from 45 countries, has ended.

Parliament speakers of Serbia, Azerbaijan sign MoU
BELGRADE - The parliament speakers of Serbia and Azerbaijan, Vladimir Orlic and Sahiba Gafarova, signed a MoU between the two parliaments on Thursday.
They agreed the memorandum would encourage a strengthening of overall parliamentary cooperation at all levels and that it reconfirmed the friendship between Serbia and Azerbaijan.
