Tipsarevic through to Bangkok 2 final

BANGKOK - Serbian tennis player Janko Tipsarevic is through to his second consecutive final in Bangkok in just a week after a routine 6-3, 6-3 victory over Daniel Altmaier.

Tipsarevic, who already won a tournament in the city last week, defeated the 18-year-old German after an hour and 46 minutes of play and will face China's Li Zhe in the Bangkok 2 final.

Tipsarevic through to another Bangkok semi-final

BANGKOK - Serbian tennis player Janko Tipsarevic is through to what will be his second semi-final in Bangkok in just a week, after beating Frenchman Axel Michon 6-2, 6-2 on Thursday.

At the Bangkok 2 challenger, Tipsarevic won after an hour and 34 minutes of play to chalk up an eighth consecutive win in the city, where he won a tournament last week.

Tipsarevic through to quarter-finals at Bangkok 2 challenger

BANGKOK - Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic is through to the quarter-finals of the Bangkok 2 ATP challenger tournament after beating Sadio Doumbia of France 6-3, 6-1 early Wednesday.

It was a seventh consecutive win for the Serbian, who already won a challenger in Bangkok last week.

Tipsarevic continues winning streak in Bangkok

BANGKOK - Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic beat Belarusian Egor Gerasimov 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 at the Bangkok 2 tennis tournament Tuesday, continuing his winning streak in the city after winning a Challenger there last week.

First-seeded Tipsarevic came from behind to beat the world number 327 Gerasimov after two hours and six minutes of play.

BANGKOK - Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic is through to the semi-finals of the ATP Challenger in Bangkok after beating Belgian Yannick Mertens 6-2, 6-4.

Fifth-seeded Tipsarevic will next face world number 112 Yuichi Sugita of Japan.

Tipsarevic through to Bangkok quarters

BANGKOK - Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic is through to the quarter-finals of the ATP Challenger in Bangkok after beating Cedrik-Marcel Stebe of Germany 6-2, 6-3 on Wednesday.

Fifth-seeded Tipsarevic defeated the world number 471 Stebe after just 99 minutes of play.

The Serb will next face world number 251 Yannick Mertens of Belgium.

Tipsarevic wins Bangkok opener

BANGKOK - Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic has got off to a successful start at the ATP Challenger in Bangkok after beating Estonian Jurgen Zopp 6-4, 6-1 in the opening round on Tuesday.

Tipsarevic will next face Cedrik-Marcel Stebe of Germany.

The prize money in Bangkok is 50,000 dollars.
