Occasionally these terrible odds are overcome, as in the battles of Rorke’s Drift and Stalingrad. Other times, such as at the Alamo or Thermopylae, the bravest stood and fought to the bitter end with valiant efforts worthy of remembrance.

Tirana offloads ancient arms to controversial broker
Albania’s state-owned arms broker sold 17.5million Chinese-made bullets, 350 mortars, and 40,000 mortar shells in 2015 to Alguns Ltd, a Bulgarian firm which worked on Washington’s programme to train and equip Syrian rebels.
The firm has been linked to a fatal explosion at a shooting range in Bulgaria in 2015 which left a Pentagon contractor working on the Syrian project dead.

Nikolic visits China's Shandong province
BEIJING/BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Wednesday arrived on an official visit to China, visiting the country's Shandong province and the cities of Qingdao and Jinan.
While in Qingdao, Nikolic spoke with representatives of the CNTC company, with whom he also opened the construction works for a Chinese-Serbian cultural village in nearby Laisi.

China is about to launch its first home-built aircraft carrier

BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will on March 30-31 pay an official visit to China, where he will meet with his Chinese counterpart and the country's top officials and also be named honorary citizen of Beijing.
During the visit, Nikolic will also hold many meetings with Chinese businesspeople.
