A woman whose headphones caught fire on a plane suffered burns to her face and hands, Australian officials said March 15, as they warned about the dangers of battery-operated devices in-flight.
The passenger was listening to music on her own battery-operated headphones as she dozed about two hours into the trip from Beijing to Melbourne on Feb. 19 when there was a loud explosion.

Chinese preparing for 2022 Winter Olympics with Slovenian help
The Chinese snowboarding team is being coached by Peter Kotnik, the former head coach of the Slovenian team who still works with Slovenian Žan Košir, a double Olympic medallist in parallel slalom.

China forex reserves rebound above $3 trillion in February
China's foreign exchange reserves unexpectedly increased by $6.9 billion in February, officials said on March 7, as pressure on its currency the yuan apparently eased.
The world's largest currency hoard rose to $3.01 trillion, the People's Bank of China said on its website, beating a forecast by Bloomberg News that reserves would fall to $2.97 trillion.
