China thanked for supporting Serbia's territorial integrity

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic has thanked China's Prime Minister Li Keqiang for his country's principled support of Serbia's territorial integrity.

During their meeting in Beijing on Wednesday, Nikolic also thanked him for the support of the Belgrade-Pristina agreement reached through dialogue.

Japan finmin Aso says will discuss China economy at G20

Japanese Finance Minister Taro Aso said on Sept. 1 it would be beneficial for this week's meeting of the Group of 20 major economies to discuss what is going on in China's economy.

China is Japan's biggest trading partner. China's stock markets have lost nearly 40 percent of their value since mid-June as an economic slowdown rattles investors. 

Chinese and Serbian presidents meet in Beijing

Chinese investments and infrastructure projects in Serbia are "of great importance for the strengthening of economic cooperation between the two countries."

This is what President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping and his Serbian counterpart Tomislav Nikolic concluded in Beijing on Monday, according to a statement from the Serbian Presidency.

Bulgaria's Ivet lalova-Collio Comes 7th in 200m World Final

Bulgaria's Ivet lalova-Collio finished 7th in the women's 200m finals at the Beijing 2015 IAAF World Athletics Championships on Friday.

Lalova-Collio covered the distance in 22.41 seconds, ahead of Jamaica's Sherone Simpson (22.50) and behind Jeneba Tarmoh of the USA (22.31). The Bulgarian athlete;s time was 0.09 seconds slower than her result in Thursday's semi-finals.

Schippers shatters European record for 200m gold

Dutch sprinter Dafne Schippers smashed a European record which has stood since the 1970s as she won world 200m gold with an electrifying run on Aug. 28.
 
The 100m silver-medallist ran 21.63sec, the fourth fastest time in history, as she lunged at the line to beat Jamaica's Elaine Thompson, who clocked a personal best of 21.66sec.
