BELGRADE - Serbia's Privatisation Agency announced on Friday the sale of 502 state companies and their subsidiaries, including the Resavica coal mines, Galenika, Petrohemija, Azotara, FAP, Mostogradnja, Jat tehnika, Lasta, Simpo, C market and the Belgrade Fair.

Turkey’s Halkbank bids for majority stake in Serbian lender Cacanska
Turkeyâs state-run lender Halkbank has said it has offered to buy a 76.76 percent stake in Serbian lender Cacanska Banka for an undisclosed sum.
In a statement to the Istanbul stock exchange, Halkbank offered no further details on the potential acquisition.
According to its latest closing share price, the market value of Belgrade-listed Cacanska Banka was $33.8 million.
Vucic: No threats are made against Serbia
BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said that no threats are made against Serbia, stressing that, in his opinion, the statement by Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin that the country would suffer enormous damage if it were to impose sanctions against Russia is not to be seen as a threat either.

BELGRADE -- Oliver Ivanović has said that his arrester came in order to prevent his political activity.
Ivanović is one of Serb leaders in northern Kosovo, arrested in January and indicted this week for crimes against ethnic Albanians.

Border wait times from 30 to 80 minutes
BELGRADE – Wait times at Serbia’s borders with Croatia, Montenegro and Bulgaria were between 30 and 80 minutes on Thursday afternoon.
Drivers wait about 30 minutes when crossing the border from Serbia to Croatia at Batrovci, the Serbian Interior Ministry Media Cooperation Bureau said in a release.
