Davenport: Labour law first step in structural reforms
BELGRADE - Head of the EU Delegation in Serbia Michael Davenport stated on Friday that the labour law is the first step in the implementation of economic and structural reforms and is in keeping with the European legislations.

BELGRADE - Net minimum wage in Serbia (deducting taxes and contributions for mandatory social insurance) in the period July-December 2014, totals RSD 115 per working hour, the Serbian government decided at its Friday session.

Vucic to visit Republika Srpska on Saturday
BELGRADE – Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will be in Republika Srpska on Saturday, where he will visit the municipalities of Doboj and Samac, the Serbian government’s media relations office said in a release Friday.

Serbian parliament adopts amendments to labor and PIO laws
BELGRADE - Members of the Serbian parliament adopted the Bills amending and modifying the Labor Law and the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance (PIO) Friday.
A total of 190 MPs voted in favor of the amendments to the Labor Law, 21 were against, and four did not vote.
The amendments to the PIO law received 190 votes in favor and 22 against, with three MPs not voting.

BELGRADE -- The interior ministers of Serbia and Macedonia signed an agreement on the mutual recognition of driving licenses between the two governments.
Nebojša Stefanović and Gordana Jankuloska signed the document in Belgrade on Friday.

Nikolic: Putin to visit Belgrade on October 20
BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic has announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Belgrade on October 20.
“Putin will come to Belgrade to celebrate with us the day when Belgrade was liberated (in 1944),” Nikolic said for Radio Television of Serbia (RTS), adding that the Russian president would visit Serbia at his invitation.

Davenport: EU to give Serbia EUR 80 million in grants
BELGRADE - Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport said Friday that Serbia would get a non-refundable aid of EUR 80 million from the IPA funds.
Embassy: France will pay additional EUR 1 million to Serbia
BELGRADE - The French Embassy in Belgrade voiced satisfaction over the great success of the Donors' Conference organized to help repair the damage caused by the May floods in Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, which raised a total of EUR 1.846 billion for the two countries, adding that France will pay an additional EUR 1 million in emergency financial aid to Serbia.
