EU: Air passengers 'halved' in March amid virus
The number of air passengers "at least halved" in March, when the novel coronavirus peaked, the 27-member-bloc's statistical office said on June 16.
Restrictive measures, to stem the spread of the COVID-19, affected the aviation sector deeply, Eurostat said.
In March, versus the same month 2019, the largest decline was seen in Italy by 85%, or 11.9 million.

Only 2% of Bulgarians Have Been Exposed to COVID-19
2% of all Bulgarians have been already infected with the novel coronavirus. In other words, the theory of achieving herd immunity is inapplicable in this country, the Chief State Health Inspector Associate Professor Angel Kunchev said.
Albania Sends 30 Doctors to Help Italy Fight Coronavirus
The team of 30 medical personnel from Albania will volunteer in the health institutions in the Italian town of Bergamo.
"Thanks to the Albanian government for this act of solidarity and affection," Italian embassy in Tirana said in a tweet.
Albania confirmed 11 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours - the smallest increase in diagnoses since March 21.

A Plane from Sofia to Italy Landed in Budapest due to an Accident
An aircraft flew from Sofia to Bergamo, Italy, wanted to return to the metropolitan airport due to a technical malfunction.
The pilots tried to land twice, but failed because of the snow, announced Bulgaria on Air.

Albanian police on Wednesday arrested Baki Coku, saying he was the subject of an international warrant issued by Interpol Roma and was suspected of belonging to an organization "whose goal was to carry terrorist acts.

Serbian water polo team beats Croatia to win World League
Serbian men's water polo team defended the World League title by beating Croatia 9-6 (1-1, 1-3, 3-1, 4-1) late on Sunday in Bergamo, Italy.
Tanjug reported that the team also qualified for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and received a prize of USD 100,000.
Serbia beats Russia in FINA World League Prelims
KRUSEVAC - Serbia triumphed against Russia 11-10 in the Group B last round of Men's Water Polo World League 2015 - Europe preliminaries, in Krusevac late on Tuesday.
Serbia's water polo team had previously secured their spot in the Super Final that will be played in Italy, but nevertheless gave their best and won expectedly.

Serbia beat Germany to secure World League finals berth
KRAGUJEVAC- Serbia beat Germany 14-8 (3-3, 4-2, 3-1, 4-2) in Kragujevac late Tuesday to secure a berth at the Water Polo World League final tournament.
Head coach Dejan Savic's men are sitting comfortably on top of Group B after winning all of their matches by beating Spain in Nis (9-1) and Madrid (15-9), Germany in Hamburg (19-10) and Russia in Astrakhan (17-8).
