Karcic notes in the report that several convicted war criminals who have served their sentences have since returned to public office in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Serbian Red Berets Unit ‘Killed Bosniak Civilians’
An ex-member of the Red Berets told the trial of former Serbian security chiefs Jovica Stanisic and Franko Simatovic that members of the unit killed Bosniak civilians in the town of Bosanski Samac in 1992.

15th anniversary of Djindjic assassination marked
The former commander of the Red Berets (JSO) Milorad Ulemek, as well as Zvezdan Jovanovic, who is the immediate perpetrator of the murder and former Ulemek deputy, were sentenced to 40 years in prison for organizing the murder of the prime minister.
The political background of Djindjic's murder has not yet been revealed.

Quarter of Bosnians Affected by Floods
Over 1 million Bosnians have been affected by the devastating floods and some 100,000 houses have been damaged.
The exact death toll in Bosnia and Herzegovina is still unknown, but it is estimated around 30.
