Anti-poverty group urges G-20 to tackle corruption
Anti-poverty organization ONE on Sept. 3 urged leaders of the 20 largest economies to act decisively at an annual summit in November against money laundering, bribery, tax evasion and corruption which it estimates costs the worldâs poorest countries more than $1 trillion a year.

Koala survives terrifying ride clinging to car
Timberwolf the koala was lucky to be alive Monday after surviving a terrifying 88-kilometre ride down a busy Australian freeway clinging to the bottom of a car.
The four-year-old male, who survived with nothing more than a torn nail, was struck by the vehicle near Maryborough in Queensland state on Friday.

PM Erdoğan to meet heads of chambers
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip ErdoÄan is scheduled to meet with the heads of chambers of commerce and industry three days before the presidential elections on Aug. 10.
The Turkish Union of Chambers of Commodities Exchanges (TOBB) sent a letter to all chambers and called on its 500 members to make preparations for the council, which is scheduled to be held on Aug. 7.
