Dozens of Romanian protesters were wounded after security forces used tear gas and water cannons to disperse anti-corruption demonstrators in Bucharest on Friday night when tens of thousands of people rallied against the ruling Social Democrat Party asking for the resignation of the government.
Over 20,000 people protest in front of Government building

A part of those present have repeatedly tried to force the fences put up by the gendarmerie. They have replied with tear gas and a water cannon.

Earthquake 3.6 on the Richter Scale Felt in Romania
An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 was registered in Romania, according to information on the site of the European Mediterranean Seismic Center.
The earthquake occurred at 22:46 local time, 53 kilometers northwest of Buzau, and 126 kilometers north of the capital, Bucharest, at a depth of 123 kilometers.
There is no information about injured people and material damage.
Romanians Return Home for Anti-Govt Protest
Romanians from the country's large diaspora have been returning to their home country to attend a mass demonstration on Friday afternoon calling on the government to resign.
