Minister Teodorovici: Romania should use EEA, Norway Grants as soon as possible
Romania should use the EEA (European Economic Area) grants and Norway grants as soon as possible for the funds to quickly be accessed by the population and the other categories to which they are allotted, Minister for European Funds Eugen Teodorovici said on Wednesday, according to a release sent to AGERPRES.

Bulgarian Railway Co Prepares Varna-Bucharest High-Speed Train Project
A project for a high-speed train connecting Bulgaria's Varna to Romania's Bucharest is being prepared at the National Railway Infrastructure Company.
The first stage of the project envisages the reconstruction of the rail line Varna – Ruse, for which a tender procedure is to be called in the second half of the year, according to reports of Trud daily.

Remittances again registered an increase in 2013, with Romanians sending home 4.2 billion euro last year, according to data from the National Bank.
The rise is believed to signify that many Romanian emigrants to countries like Italy and Germany have again started to find stable employment after the worst of the financial crisis.
