Indian invents 'Romanian kebab', hopes local traditional cuisine embraces it
An Indian who has been living in Romania for over 15 years invented a new sort of kebab he named 'Romanian', which he serves in his own restaurant, the first oriental club in the north-western region of Cluj.

UDMR decides to exit government
Chairman of the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) Kelemen Hunor announced his formation will leave the government.
The decision was made in the northwestern city of Cluj-Napoca, by the UDMR Standing Council, after more than five hours of debates.
A final decision will be made by the Union Representatives Council (CRU) to take place on December 13.

Bulgaria's Varna Wins European Youth Capital 2017 Bid
The Black Sea city of Varna is to be the European Youth Capital (EYC) in 2017, a jury panel announced Wednesday evening.
At a special ceremony held in the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca (2015's winner), the final decision was revealed after having been taken in Brussels last week.

Bulgaria's Black Sea city of Varna is among the four cities that are competing for the prestigious nomination, the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) reminds.
A special event dedicated to Varna's bid was held at the European Parliament.
