Another Powerful Earthquake with Different Epicenter Rocks Greece

A new earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale shook central Greece at 20:38 on Thursday.

The epicenter was near the town of Elassona, which was hit on Wednesday by an earthquake measuring 6.0.

The National Observatory of Athens' Institute of Geodynamics reported that the new quake's epicenter was 16km southwest from Elassona proper, close to Larissa.

Three coronavirus patients moved out of ICU in Larissa

Three patients treated for coronavirus at the University Hospital of Larissa in central Greece have been moved out of intensive care, according to reports Thursday.

According to the same reports, one 68-year-old German national, a 70-year-old man from Larissa and a 82-year-old man from the nearby village of Damasi were moved out of the ICU and in stable condition.
