Shooting near Decani: Two students and a driver were killed in the attack on the bus

Hospital in Pec confirmed for Klan Kosova that two students and a bus driver were killed in the shooting.
The hospital said that the number of injured is unknown, writes Kosovo online but that the ambulance is bringing them from Decani to Pec.
The police have not yet confirmed these allegations, but in the first report, they told the media that two people were injured.

Mayoral Candidate’s Death in Double Killing Shocks Kosovo

Kosovo was shocked on Wednesday when Astrit Ademaj, a candidate to be mayor of Peje/Pec from the opposition Democratic Party of Kosovo, PDK, and a former mayoral candidate from the same party for Decan/Decani municipality, Blerand Kadrijaj, were killed in an armed incident at around 8.15pm.

Kadrijaj ran to be Decan/Decani mayor in the 2017 local elections.

KFOR erected new barricades near the Decani monastery

This problem is further intensified by the installation of new barricades that KFOR set up a few days ago near the monastery Visoki Decani, Gazeta Express writes.
Such an action provoked a reaction from the citizens of Decani, who said that "these barricades reflect insecurity, political pressure and obstacles to the development of normal life in this area."

Visoki Decani monastery receive threats of destruction

DECANI - Archimandrite Sava Janjic, abbot of Visoki Decani monastery in western Kosovo-Metohija (KiM), said Saturday that an unidentified men has threatened that he will destroy the medieval Serbian monastery in the next few days, adding that the Kosovo police, KFOR and international representatives in Kosovo have been notified about the latest threats.
