Smugglers Make £1million a Day Trafficking Migrants

The Mediterranean migrant crisis is being fuelled afresh by criminal gangs making £1million a day smuggling over tens of thousands from as far away as Bangladesh, reported The Sun. 

An investigation by MPs found that while the number of war refugees from Syria crossing to Italy is going down, illegal immigrants from the poor Asian country are spiralling.

8 Bulgarian companies took part in GITEX - the largest technology exhibition in the Middle East. It was held from 8 to 12 October at the World Trade Center in Dubai, UAE.

Dubai Tested Drone Taxi Service

A first test flight of a flying self-operating taxi was made on Monday in Dubai, Business Insider reported.

The giant passenger drone made a five-minute flight at 200 meters above the Jumeirah Coast Park to demonstrate how an urban voyage could be featuring an electric autonomous taxi. This happened in the presence of the heir to Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum.

Turkish Airlines profits in Africa, where others fear to fly

When Turkish Airlines opened a direct daily route to a war-ravaged African failed state plagued by militants, industry insiders were skeptical.

"Somalia is one of our most profitable destinations worldwide," Mustafa Özkahraman, Kenya country manager for Turkish Airlines, told Reuters in an interview.
