550 Years since the Return of Relics of St. Ivan of Rila to Rila Monastery in Bulgaria
Bulgaria's Rila Monastery on July 1 marks 550 years since the return of the relics of St. Ivan of Rila from the old capital of Veliko Turnovo to the Holy Monastery. A cash machine has been stolen from the foyer of a bank located in the centre of the Bulgarian town of Velingrad, metres away from the building of the municipality.
The signal for the theft was submitted by security guards early on Friday morning.
The robbers have broken into the building of the bank which is located on the main pedestrian street of Velingrad.

A freight trained derailed near the Bulgarian town of Dupnitsa shortly after midnight on Saturday as it was entering the railway station.
No people have been injured in the incident, but the derailment caused a considerable damage to the infrastructure.

Robbers in Bulgaria Make off with ATM on Christmas Eve
Robbers have stolen an ATM in the town of Dupnitsa on Christmas Eve, Nova TV reported on Friday.
The ATM was loaded with some BGN 200,000 (EUR 100,000) before Christmas, Nova TV said. However, it was not immediately clear how much money there was in the ATM at the time of the robbery.
