Over 50 Syrians in Istanbul’s Esenyurt repatriate
A total of 54 Syrians, who fled from their worn-torn country and settled in Türkiye's major metropolitan city of Istanbul's Esenyurt district, have returned to safe areas in their homeland, the district's mayor has announced.

Seven families go back to Syria in last wave of ‘voluntarily return’
Some 34 members of seven Syrian families, who have been residing in Istanbul's Esenyurt district for a decade, "went back home" with an official ceremony held by the local municipality.
Thanking Turkey for being their home, the families moved back to the Syrian cities of Afrin, Latakia and the capital Damascus on a bus on June 8.
Death toll climbs after storm hammers Turkey’s northwest
The death toll in a powerful wind storm that has been pounding Turkey's northwest region, including Istanbul, for a while has increased to five, the country's health minister has said, adding that 63 people have been injured so far.
