2,400-year-old tomb found in southwestern province
A tomb estimated to be 2,400-year-old has come to light in the southwestern province of Muğla's Milas district.
After a citizen noticed a large stone while digging a field some 30 inches below the ground, he realized it was a historical relic and notified the Milas Museum Directorate.

Temple of Zeus to regain former glory with new columns
The Temple of Zeus Lepsynos in the ancient city of Euromos in southwestern Turkey will regain former glory with the resurrection of newly excavated columns.
Work is being done to make stand still missing columns of the temple, which was built in the second century B.C. in the Milas district of Muğla province.
2,500-year-old statues, inscription unearthed in western Turkey
Two 2,500-year-old marble statues and an inscription have been found during excavations at the Temple of Zeus Lepsynos, one of the best-preserved Roman temples of Anatolia, in the western province of Muğla.
Built with donations in the second century B.C., the temple is located in the ancient city of Euromos.

Ancient throne discovered in excavations at Euromos
Excavation works in the ancient city of Euromos, located near the city of Milas in the western province of MuÄla, have revealed the remains of a 2,300 year-old throne.
The ancient city of Euromos is home to some of the most well preserved temples in Anatolia. This year excavation works have been headed by Associate Professor Abuzer Kızıl.
