Citing drought, US not to give water to California farmers

With California entering the third year of severe drought, U.S. federal officials have said they will not deliver any water to farmers in the state's major agricultural region - a decision that will force many to plant fewer crops in the fertile soil that yields the bulk of the nation's fruits, nuts and vegetables.

Bulgaria-Based US Arms Dealer Charged with Brokering Illicit Deal

US arms dealer Ara Dolarian, who lives in Bulgaria, was arrested on May 15 in Fresno, California for allegedly brokering the sale of arms and munitions to the Nigerian government without acquiring compulsory US Department of Commerce and Investment licenses, the US Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of California announced on Monday.

KISS Announce First 'End of the Road Farewell Tour' Dates

Kiss have announced the first 44 dates of their farewell tour, titled the End of the Road and expected to run for three years, reported bTV. 

The veteran band will start the run on Jan. 31, 2019, in Vancouver and end it on April 13 in Birmingham, Ala.

007 'Jaws' villain Richard Kiel dies aged 74

Richard Kiel, who played the towering, steel-toothed baddie "Jaws" in two James Bond movies, died Wednesday aged 74, a hospital spokeswoman said.
      
The 7-foot-2 inch (2.18-meter) actor, who made a career playing giants and villains, passed away in the Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, spokeswoman Kelley Sanchez told AFP.
