Greek officials angry, puzzled after UK’s Sunak scraps leaders’ meeting
Greek officials said Tuesday that they will continue talks with the British Museum about bringing the Parthenon Marbles back to Athens, despite UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak canceling a meeting with his Greek counterpart where the contested antiquities were due to be discussed.
Erdoğan says Spain’s stance on Palestinian issue ‘valuable’
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has described the approach by the Spanish government in regards to the ongoing Israeli attacks against the civilians in Gaza as valuable and expressed his wish to work with Spain for regional peace.
Erdoğan spoke over the phone with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, the Communications Directorate announced late on Nov. 27.
Representatives of European and Arab countries meet in Barcelona
Delegations from European Union member states and Middle Eastern and north African countries are meeting yesterday in Barcelona, Spain, to discuss the crisis in Gaza, where a fragile pause in fighting is set to expire.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also attended in meeting.
Israel, Hamas extend truce for additional two days
Israel and Hamas have agreed to extend their cease-fire for two more days past Monday, raising the prospect of further exchanges of militant-held hostages for Palestinians imprisoned by Israel and a longer halt to their deadliest and most destructive war.

Reuters reports that since the conflict began on October 7, Hezbollah and some Iraqi factions have attacked Israeli and US forces almost daily, however, there have been no reports of attacks on US troops in Iraq and Syria since a four-day ceasefire between Israel and Hamas took effect.
