Ivanic sends letter to ICJ

BANJALUKA - Chairman of the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Presidency Mladen Ivanic has sent a letter to The Hague-based International Court of Justice (ICJ), disputing anyone's right to file applications on behalf of BiH as there is no decision on this by BiH institutions, Ivanic's office told the RTRS.

The Serb member of Bosnia's tripartite presidency, Mladen Ivanic, said on Friday that he will send a letter to the International Court of Justice saying that the country's presidency did not agree to file the request for an appeal against the 2007 judgment clearing Serbia of direct responsibility for genocide during the 1992-95 war.

Eurozone, IMF reach agreement on a common stance on Greece, official says

Eurozone lenders and the International Monetary Fund have reached an agreement between themselves on a common stance they will present to Greece, a senior eurozone official said.

A meeting between the lenders and Greek officials is scheduled for later on Friday, the head of eurozone finance ministers Jeroen Dijsselbloem said in The Hague.

UN court tells Turkey to release detained judge

A United Nations court on Jan. 31 ordered Turkey to release a judge detained in a crackdown after last year's failed coup attempt so that he can resume his work on an appeals case.

Turkey was "ordered to cease all legal proceedings against Judge Aydın Sefa Akay and to take all necessary measures to ensure his release... no later than 14 February," the tribunal said.
