On Friday, November 5, the Prime Minister inaugurated in Halki the project concerning the first island of the national initiative GR-eco Islands, which aims to transform the islands of Greece into models of green economy, energy self-sufficiency, digital innovations and sustainable mobility.

Part of the Dodecanese archipelago, Halki, west of Rhodes, is a special travel proposal for those who avoid the busy tourist resorts and seek peace and quiet in a place of traditional color, ideal for hiking.Halki in the passage of time

The Alimnia islet, located between Rhodes and Halki, was chosen by the Belgian travel agency “Beyond Borders” for the survival game ‘The Island’ which will begin in October 2016.

“Beyond Borders” is a new tourism agency that organises concept adventure trips, which do not exist anywhere else in Europe.
