MITSIS HOTELS: Undertakes management of a new luxury 5* hotel resort in Halkidiki
The MITSIS HOTELS Group is expanding with the management of a new luxury 5* hotel resort in Halkidiki, according to the company's announcement.
Specifically, the Group entered into a 20-year Property Management Agreement with Happy Holidays S.A., with a horizon of completion and operation of the unit in 2025.
Takeaway ban taken back
After initially announcing a weekend ban on takeaway food in Athens and Thessaloniki early on Saturday, Development Minister Adonis Georgiadis took it back later in the day.
"The government assessed that the measure of temporary suspension of takeaway will create more confusion and will cause more problems," he said in a statement.

Romanian injured in Greek storm to be released from hospital

Two injured as car crashes into supermarket in Halkidiki
A 72-year-old motorist lost control of her vehicle on Friday and crashed into the glass facade of a supermarket in the town of Halkidiki, northern Greece, hitting two women, aged 59 and 85, police said.
The elder victim was transferred to a local hospital for treatment for minor injuries, according to police.
Tsipras takes F-16 flight over northern Aegean
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras donned a g-suit and flew on an F-16 fighter jet while visiting the 110th combat wing of the Hellenic Air Force in Larisa, central Greece Thursday afternoon.
The flight lasted about an hour and passed over Halkidiki, Mt. Athos, Limnos, Agios Efstratios and Skyros.
