UN: Bulgaria Faces World's Bleakest Demographic Prospects by 2050

Bulgaria faces the bleakest demographic prospects on a global scale over the next 35 years, according to the 2015 World Population Prospects report of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA).

In the period 2015-2050, Bulgaria's population is expected to shrink by 27.9%.

EIB loan to help Turkey's SMEs

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has agreed to offer loans worth 200 million euros ($222 million) to Turkey?s state-owned bank, Ziraat Bank, to finance small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as medium-sized corporates, the Turkish Treasury announced in a statement on June 3.

The loan will be guaranteed by the Treasury.

Over 50 billion devices to be connected to the Internet by 2020 (US commerce official)

Regional Cyber Security Summit begins at Palace of Parliament

The Ministry for Information Society together with the US Department of Commerce and the Commercial Service of the US Embassy in Bucharest are organising in the following three days at the Palace of the Parliament a Regional Cyber Security Summit, the US Embassy in Bucharest informs.
