Roadworks on Athens-Lamia highway to disrupt traffic Thursday, Friday
Roadworks to put electronic signs over sections of the national highway between Athens and Lamia in central Greece will lead to the disruption of traffic Thursday and Friday.
The sections to be affected will be those running through the municipalities of Dionysos and Kifissia.
Traffic will be suspended in sections and diverted in others.

You know things are getting a little risky when robbers break into the home of the mayor of one of Greece’s most upscale districts and tie him and his wife up before looting the place.
The victim in this case is the mayor of Kifissia, an eponymous northern Athens suburb associated with leafy lots and “old money”.
Burglars tie up Kifissia mayor along with wife and son
Police were seeking two burglars who are said to have broken into the home of Kifissia Mayor Giorgos Thomakos in the early hours of Monday morning and tied up him and his family before stealing cash, jewelry and other valuables.
