The Spraying Against Mosquitoes along the Danube River Starts Today
Spraying against Mosquitoes in Kozloduy Is Postponed for Monday
The first spraying over the city of Kozloduy, which was organized for July 4th in connection with the launch of insecticide mosquito treatments along the Danube River, was canceled, Bulgarian Agency for Food Safety announced.
The reason for postponing the spraying is a delay in the delivery of the insecticide repellent.
The Disinsection Campaign along the Danube Starts Today
Disinsection campaign along the Danube starts today. The destruction of the insects will take place through the ubiquitous spraying of the affected areas along the whole Danube River. The campaign will be carried out by aviation treatment aimed at the mass destruction of mosquitoes and the prevention of the spread of human and animal diseases in these risky regions.
Average Wage in Bulgaria Ranges from BGN 1193 in Sofia to BGN 593 in Vidin
People working in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia earn on average double the remuneration paid to their counterparts in the towns of Vidin and Blagoevgrad.
This is shown by the figures of the National Statistical Institute (NSI) for the third quarter of the year, daily Trud informs.
During this period, the average wage was the highest in Sofia, where it stood at BGN 1193.

A large number of industry workers are to attend the celebrations at the Kozloduy NPP on Thursday, according to reports of the Bulgarian National Radio.
Eight years prior to the launch, Bulgaria signed an agreement with the former Soviet Union on the N-plant in the northwestern town of Kozloduy.
