Serbia out of Davis Cup after shock defeat to Slovakia
KRALJEVO - Serbia are out of the tennis Davis Cup after a shock 4-0 defeat to Slovakia in a qualifier for the competition's group stage, played in Kraljevo, central Serbia, at the weekend.
On Friday, Serbia's Miomir Kecmanovic lost (7-6 (7-2) 6-2) to Lukas Klein and Dusan Lajovic was defeated 4-6, 6-2, 6-0 by Alex Molcan.
Serbia Releases Three Seized Kosovo Policemen
The Higher Court in Kraljevo, Serbia, on Monday ordered the release of three Kosovo policemen who Serbia says it arrested on Serbian territory - and who Kosovo says were kidnapped inside Kosovo last week.
The court also said it confirmed the indictment against them for alleged illegal production, possession, carrying and trafficking of weapons and explosive materials.

Arrested officers of so-called Kosovo Police placed in custody
KRALJEVO - At the proposal of the Higher Prosecutor's Office in Kraljevo, a local court has placed three officers of the so-called Kosovo Police in 30-day custody.
The three, identified as B S, aged 58, R Z, aged 48, and M S, aged 62, were arrested on June 14 in the territory of central Serbia.

The appointment was made by Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, whose cabinet published a photograph, showing Laban and other judges take their oath of office.
"He is still a wanted person by Belgrade authorities. There is an Interpol red notice warrant and if he goes outside the country his name will appear at any airport," Reuters is reporting, quoting "a senior police source."

Measles epidemic declared in Belgrade
The City Public Health Institute of Serbia has reported an epidemic of measles in the city of Belgrade.
This came after tests confirmed the presence of the virus in five patients.
