Vucic: I will protect national interests, our people in Kosovo-Metohija to my last breath

KRUSEVAC - President of Serbia and Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) member Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday evening he would protect Serbian national and state interests and the interests of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija to his last breath.

KRUSEVAC  - Red Star Belgrade are through to the round of last 16 of the Serbian football cup after a 6-0 win over Trayal in Krusevac on Wednesday.

The hosts' Nemanja Spasojevic opened the scoring with an own goal in the 9th minute and Cherif Ndiaye (53 min), Jovan Sljivic (75 min, 90 min) Nikola Knezevic (77 min) and Jovan Mijatovic (89 min) all netted for Red Star.

"The Serbian spirit is unwavering and has never backed down," Vucic said during his address to the citizens.
He pointed out that those who tried to tear Serbia down on Vidovdan, Vui said "did not cause her death", to the contrary, that Serbia continues to grow stronger.
"Serbia is a free and libertarian country," Vucic explained.

Those hospitals arrived at the moment when it was most needed. Thanks to them, we saved hundreds of lives. We have started mass immunization of citizens", she said.

In the last 24 hours, 7.549 people were tested.
There are 178 patients on respirators, and 4.693 people were hospitalized.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Serbia, 2.544.497 people have been tested, and a total of 383.603 cases have been confirmed.
Coronavirus epidemics in Serbia took 3.886 lives, and the mortality rate is 1.01 percent.

Zivkovic, however, was investigated on suspicion of organising the participation of Serb fighters in the war. He was arrested in August last year in the southern Serbian town of Krusevac but on June 12 the local prosecutor's office told BIRN it had suspended the investigation against him, without specifying why.
