13 irregular migrants rescued off Aegean
A total of 13 irregular migrants have been rescued from a rubber boat in the Aegean Sea off the coast of the country's western town of Kuşadası on April 26.
Turkish Coast Guard Command teams were dispatched to the region upon the information that there were migrants in life rafts off Aydın's Kuşadası district.

The number of cruise ships visiting Türkiye and cruise passengers increased significantly in 2022 from the previous month, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu has announced.

Liners Celestyal Olympia, Star Flyer, MSC Lirica, Viking SKY and Seven Seas Explorer docked at the Ege Port on July 5.
Passengers of the cruise ships visited the ancient city of Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary.

Some 1,052 cruise ships are expected to visit Türkiye's ports this year, bringing around 1.5 million visitors as seaborne tourism activity that suffered from the pandemic starts to pick up.

At least 65 migrants pushed back by Greece rescued
The Turkish Coast Guard rescued a total of 65 asylum seekers off Muğla and Aydın provinces in 24 hours.
Turkish coast guard units rescued 46 irregular migrants in two different locations off the coasts of Marmaris district in the Aegean province of Muğla after they were pushed back into Turkey's territorial waters by the Greek authorities.

Microsoft founder Bill Gates has visited Turkey's southwest, disembarking his super-luxury yacht to take a short tour of the top tourist destinations in the region.
Gates, the world's fourth-richest person, went on a tour with a private helicopter after his Cayman Islands-flagged yacht was anchored off the resort town of Kuşadası.
