Explosions were heard in Kyiv, attacks continue all over the country

Four explosions were heard in Kyiv early this morning. In a residential complex near the city center, there is a fire and thick gray smoke rises.

Russia attacked the Ukrainian capital in the early hours of Sunday morning, striking at least two residential buildings, Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said, as elsewhere Russian troops consolidated their gains in the east.

Associated Press journalists in Kiev saw rescue services battling flames and rescuing civilians. Klitschko said two people were hospitalized with injuries.

By train to Kyiv - Macron, Scholz and Draghi arrived in Ukraine

French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi arrived by train in the Ukrainian capital to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Washington does not need peace in Ukraine, and therefore the United States has suspended negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv", a member of the negotiating group with Kyiv and the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Leonid Slutsky, said.
