Earthquake strikes Ilia region

A 3.9 magnitude earthquake struck the region of Ilia in the Peloponnese on Wednesday morning at 9.45 a.m.

According to the Geodynamics Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the epicenter of the quake was at sea and located 14 kilometers southwest of the port town of Kyllini, at a depth of 30 kilometers.

4.1-magnitude quake hits Kyllini

A 4.1-magnitude earthquake shook the port town of Kyllini in western Greece on Wednesday.

According to the Athens' Geodynamic Institute, the tremor, whose epicenter was 10 kilometers east of Kyllini, was recorded at a depth of 8 kilometers.

No injuries or damages were reported.

Quake of 4.1-Richter strikes between Kyllini and Cephalonia

An undersea quake, measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale, struck the area between Kyllini and Cephalonia in the Ionian Sea at around 8 a.m. on Monday.

According to the Athens Observatory's Geodynamic Institute, the quake's epicenter was located eight kilometers northwest of Kyllini.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.
 

4.2 earthquake hits port town of Kyllini

A 4.2 magnitude earthquake has rocked the port town of Kyllini located on the Ionian Sea coast in the western Peloponnese. The tremor struck at approximately 4.34 am, Monday. No damage was reported, but locals are concerned as the seismic activity in the region is growing after another tremor shook the city of Kalamata last week.
