BELGRADE - Serbia will be featured at the Leipzig international book fair with an exhibition titled Serbia Reads/Read Serbia, organised by the Serbian Ministry of Culture and Information.

The 13rd Istanbul Bach Days will be organized this year with the theme "Bach & Love."

The event will open Dec. 7 with the world-renowned violin virtuoso Andres Mustonen and the leading Estonian Glasperlenspiel Chamber Orchestra on the Grand Pera Emek Stage. The concert will present a selection from Bach. 

German actress and singer Gisela May has passed away aged 92. May is best known for her performances of political songs by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill. Born in Wetzlar, Germany, in 1924, May was the daughter of actor and writer Käte May and writer Ferdinand May and attended drama school in Leipzig from 1942 to 1944.
