Bulgaria Air To Launch More Flights for Winter Holidays
Bulgaria Air will launch additional flights to 9 destinations for the winter holidays. These include Palma de Majorca, Lisbon, the third biggest city in Cyprus - Larnaca and the Spanish capital Madrid.
Due to increased interest, more planes will fly to Frankfurt, Zurich, London, Vienna and Moscow as well.
Unbeaten Beşiktaş out to overtake Benfica
Turkey's Beşiktaş will put its unbeaten record in the Champions League on the line on Nov. 23 when it hosts Portugal's Benfica at its Vodafone Arena Stadium.
Beşiktaş is just a point adrift of the top pair, Benfica and Napoli, heading into the last two matchdays in the group.

UK's May tells EU Brexit timetable 'unchanged' despite shock ruling
British Prime Minister Theresa May on Nov. 4 told European leaders that her March deadline for triggering Brexit negotiations "remains unchanged" despite a court ruling that she first needs parliament's approval, AFP reported.
Britain Suspends Foreign Professors From Brexit Project
The British government has requested that foreign professors be suspended from participation in the Brexit project assigned to the London School of Economics, announced a speaker of the university.
Professors and researchers from the school advise the British Economy Minister on possible scenarios after the British voted to leave the EU in a referendum on June 23.

UK to start EU exit process before end of March, says PM May
British Prime Minister Theresa May said Oct. 2 that Britain would start the formal process for leaving the European Union by the end of March 2017.
Before now May has only said that Britain would not trigger Article 50 of the EU's Lisbon Treaty - which sets a maximum two-year clock ticking until a country's departure from the 28-member bloc - before the end of this year.

Disagreement between Turkey and the European Union continues over the bloc's pledge to assist Syrian refugees, as a member of the Turkish cabinet has said Ankara was yet to receive any financial support, contrary to claims that the EU has sent 2 billion euros.

Man topples 126-year-old statue while trying to take a selfie
A young man attempting to take a selfie with the statue of a 16th century Portuguese king ended badly when statue crashed to the ground and shattered, according to police.
As Reuters reported, the man accidentally toppled Dom Sebastiao’s statue after climbing up to its pedestal outside the ornate Rossio railway station in central Lisbon.
Bulgaria Air Adds Weekly Flights to Lisbon, Alicante from Sofia
Sofia Airport has started offering two new seasonal destinations: to Lisbon, Portugal and Alicante, Spain.
Both routes to the Iberian Peninsula are operated by national carrier Bulgaria Air, the airport says on its website.
The route to the Portuguese capital city, served since April 28, will be operated once a week,on Thursday.
