Olympiakos downs AC Milan 3-0 in friendly
Greek champion Olympiakos defeated Italy's AC Milan 3-0 late on Thursday in a friendly match that launched the International Champions Cup in Canada and the US.
The result, with goals from Alejandro Dominguez, Dimitris Diamantakos and Andreas Bouchalakis, marked Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi's first defeat in three friendlies since he took charge of the San Siro club.

Liverpool start life after Suarez with defeat
Liverpool started life without Luis Suarez on Wednesday with a 2-1 defeat against Danish side Brondby in the club's opening pre-season friendly.
Christian Norgaard gave the home side the lead from a free-kick midway through the first half before Liverpool's Swedish international winger Kristoffer Peterson levelled early in the second half.

Barcelona agree to sign Suarez from Liverpool
Barcelona have agreed to buy disgraced Uruguay forward Luis Suarez from Liverpool, the two clubs said on July 11.
"The player will travel to Barcelona next week for a medical, sign a contract for the next five seasons and be presented as an FC Barcelona player," the Spanish team said in a statement.

Liverpool clinch Lallana transfer deal
Liverpool have completed the signing of Adam Lallana after the Southampton and England midfielder successfully underwent a club medical on Tuesday.
The transfer fee agreed by Southampton for the 26-year-old midfielder is believed to be around 25million (31million euros) and he will be on a five-year contract.

Kosovo club offers banned Suarez a job
A club in Kosovo on Monday offered Luis Suarez 1,500 a month to boost their forward line while he serves his ban for biting.
Kosovo is not covered by Suarez's worldwide suspension as it is not an official member of UEFA or FIFA so Suarez could theoretically play in its Super League.

Uruguay striker Luis Suarez was banned for nine matches by FIFA on Thursday after being found guilty of biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini.
Suarez was also suspended from any football-related activity for four months and fined 100,000 Swiss francs ($111,000).

Suarez double shatters England as Uruguay win
Luis Suarez scored twice as Uruguay sent England spinning towards their earliest World Cup exit in 56 years on Thursday with a 2-1 victory.
Liverpool striker Suarez grabbed the second of two opportunistic goals in the 85th minute of a tense Group D battle in Sao Paulo after Wayne Rooney had looked to have rescued a point for England with a 75th-minute equaliser.
