New Charges Against Joe Biden's Son
The US Department of Justice has filed new charges against the son of US President Joe Biden - Hunter Biden, CNN reported.
Biden was charged yesterday in federal court in Los Angeles with participating in a four-year scheme to avoid paying taxes worth about .4 million, the Justice Department said.

2024 Oscars broadcast set for prime time
Academy Awards enthusiasts won't have to stay up quite as late to hear the best picture winner in March.
The 96th Oscars will begin one hour early, with the official show starting at 7 p.m. Eastern for the first time, ABC said on Nov. 30. The official pre-show will also begin earlier, at 6:30 p.m. Eastern.

Celebrated US photographer Elliott Erwitt dead at 95
U.S. photographer Elliott Erwitt, renowned for capturing the lighter side of his subjects, their canine companions and celebrities, has died aged 95, the Magnum agency where he was a mainstay said on Nov. 30.
"He died peacefully at home surrounded by family," the storied agency, founded in 1947, wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Zurich and Singapore are the most expensive cities in the world ahead of New York amid the ever-rising cost of living, according to rankings published Thursday by The Economist magazine.
The British weekly estimated that prices have increased an average of 7.4 percent over the past year in 173 major cities, a slight slowdown compared to a record 8.1 percent inflation in 2022.

American actor Matthew Perry of the hit sitcom "Friends" was laid to rest at a Los Angeles cemetery on Nov. 3 during a private funeral attended by family and co-stars, U.S. media reported.
The 54-year-old, known for his role as Chandler Bing in "Friends," which aired from 1994-2004, was found dead on October 28.
