Türkiye to deploy F-16s after renaming İncirlik base
Türkiye announced that it has renamed the Incirlik Tanker Base as "10th Main Jet Base Command," in line with the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK), a move that will allow the deployment of F-16 jetfighters on the facility, according to a statement by the Defense Ministry.
WWF launches project for disaster-resistant homes in Malatya
World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Türkiye has initiated a disaster recovery project in Malatya, one of the provinces severely impacted by the devastating February earthquakes.
The "Restorative Village" project, aligned with WWF Türkiye's "green recovery" call, aims to establish earthquake-resistant homes that are "harmonious with nature."
Foundations for new housing to be laid in quake-hit provinces
Exactly 46 days after the devastating Feb. 6 earthquakes, the first foundations for new housing in the affected provinces were laid on March 23.
21 survive Turkey building collapse with no deaths
Twenty-one people survived being buried under heavy debris when a two-storey building collapsed in eastern Turkey, the government said, with no fatalities reported as search operations ended early on Nov. 10.
The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon on a busy street in the city of Malatya, as residents filled shops on their way home from work.

Another Earthquake in Turkey, No casualties Reported
An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale was registered in eastern Turkey, the European Seismological Center reported, as quoted by Nova TV.
The quake was felt around 11:30 a.m. local time. It is registered 30 km east-southeast of the city of Malatya and 16 km north-northwest of Sindzhik.

Main opposition party's next challenge: Keep up momentum
Joining the main opposition party's justice march to cover it on its 20th day, one of the first things that attracted my attention was a man carrying a large straw hat. A picture of main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) head Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, along with the word "justice" was attached to the hat.
