Athens one of four world cities that aim to stop diesel
Athens is one of four world capitals that has committed to banning diesel vehicles from city roads by 2025 in a bid to reduce urban air pollution.
Athens Mayor Giorgos Kaminis attended the C40 Mayors Summit in Mexico City last week along with the host, Miguel Ange Mancera, and the mayors of Paris and Madrid, Anne Hidalgo and Manuel Carmena respectively.

Thousands protest in Mexico against gay marriage legalization
Thousands of people marched throughout Mexico Sept. 10 to protest President Enrique Pena Nieto's initiative to legalize gay marriage.
The National Front for the Family -- a coalition of conservative religious groups -- called for the protests, and is also planning a mass march for Sept. 24 in Mexico City.
Kosovo becomes 210th member of FIFA
BELGRADE - The Football Federation of Kosovo has joined the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), TASS reports. The decision was made following a vote at FIFA's congress underway in Mexico City.
A total of 141 votes were given for Kosovo's membership in FIFA, 23 were against.
The Football Federation of Kosovo has thus become FIFA's 210th member.
