The body of a suspected Kosovo war victim was exhumed in the village of Suhodoll/Suvi Do near the northern town of Mitrovica after the remains of other bodies were discovered the previous day.

Kosovo Police Stop 'Illegal' Serb Census Attempts
Kosovo Police said they raided Serbian Red Cross centres on the authorisation of the courts on Wednesday night in Prizren, Pristina, Pejë/Pec, Gjilan/Gnjilane and Mitrovicë/Mitrovica.
"Seized documents are suspected to be related to a census, considered suspicious and in contradiction to the law, as a census should be conducted by Kosovo institutions," the police press release said.

Former Kosovo PM Bajram Rexhepi dies in Turkey after stroke
Bajram Rexhepi, Kosovo's former prime minister and interior minister, has died in a hospital in Turkey following a stroke. He was 63.
Prime Minister Isa Mustafa said in a statement that Rexhepi, a surgeon by profession, passed away in the early hours on Aug. 21 following months of battling a grave illness. He was taken to Turkey after a stroke in April.

Bajram Rexhepi, the first elected Prime Minister of Kosovo following the 1999 war of independence, died on Monday at the age of 63 in a hospital in Turkey, where he had been receiving treatment for months following a stroke in April this year.
News of the death of Rexhepi was confirmed by his Kosovo Democratic Party, PDK.

Kosovo Serb politician Oliver Ivanovic, head of the Freedom, Democracy, Justice Party, said that his politics are the reason why unknown perpetrators set fire to his car in the divided northern town of Mitrovica.
"Some people obviously find my views unpleasant," Ivanovic told a press conference on Friday.
EU cancels financial aid to northern Kosovska Mitrovica

EU Special Representative in Kosovo Natalya Apostolova says the EU is "not responsible for the canceling of financial aid to North Mitrovica."
In a statement for RTK2, KoSSev and Radio Free Europe, Apostolova said that the decision to terminate the projects was made at the headquarters of the European Union and that the funds were returned.

"America first, but North Kosovo ahead of Kosovo," is the slogan of a new satirical video made in the northern, Serb-run part of Kosovo - playing on US President Donald Trump's election slogan of "America First".
"We have two governments, both claim the right to possess us, yet no one really cares about us," the video, meaning Serbia and Kosovo.
