Russia will ban imports of agricultural products, vegetables and fruits from Turkey and may expand its sanctions further if deemed necessary, senior officials said at a government meeting on Nov. 30, as quoted by Reuters. 

Moscow may delay the introduction of the food import restrictions for several weeks to ease inflationary pressure, said Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich.

Moscow may delay the introduction of the food import restrictions for several weeks to ease inflationary pressure, said Arkady Dvorkovich, a deputy prime minister. 

NATO has pledged support to Turkey over the downing of the Russian fighter jet which violated Turkish airspace on Nov. 24, while Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu has said there will be no apology for the incident. 

Russian authorities received the coffin of the Russian pilot shot down by Turkish F-16s from GATA military hospital in Ankara on Nov. 30 and traveled to the capital's Esenbo?a airport to prepare it for transport to Russia, sources have told Hürriyet Daily News.

Turkey is sending back the dead body of Lt. Colonel Oleg Peshkov to Moscow after he had been shot while parachuting from the Ru-24 jet plane that Turkey downed. Turkish forces shot down the pilot’s plane after they said he had violated Turkish airspace for 17 seconds. Russia denies this and the incident has sparked a row between both countries.

Turkey will hand over the body of the pilot of the downed Su-24 warplane to Russia.

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu stated on Sunday that the body had been brought from Syria to the border with Turkey last night.

A Russian warplane recently entered Israeli-controlled airspace from Syria but the intrusion was resolved without incident, Israeli Defence Minister Moshe Yaalon said on Nov. 29.

Turkey has initiated the process to hand over the body of a Russian pilot to Moscow after his jet was shot down by Turkey, a day before a United Nations climate conference starts in Paris that could bring a "saddened" Turkish president and his Russian counterpart together. 

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed on Saturday a decree introducing a set of economic sanctions against Turkey.

The sanctions come in response to the downing of the Russian Su-24 warplane by Turkish F-16 fighter jets on the Turkish-Syrian border on Tuesday.
