Authorities dismantle three crime groups, says minister
Authorities have dismantled three organized crime syndicates, resulting in the arrest of 63 suspects, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on Feb. 22.

‘67 districts most likely to become provinces’
A total of 67 districts, each inhabited by over 100,000 residents and positioned at a minimum distance of 30 kilometers from the city center, could be set to become provinces, according to the Turkish Chamber of Survey and Cadastre Engineers (HKMO).

Police chiefs changed in 52 provinces
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has made 83 appointments within the General Directorate of Security, which has resulted in the replacement of police chiefs in 52 of all 81 provinces across the country.
Among the changes, the police chiefs of 24 other provinces have been transferred to the headquarters.
