A strong storm again: Rain and hail hit Belgrade causing collapse of road traffic

The Belgrade settlement of Karaburma was hit by the hail.
The storm also caused a collapse on the roads, and the Highway to Zagreb is crowded in both directions, causing heavy traffic from Zmaj to Konjarnik.
Center of Belgrade is also affected, as well as New Belgrade.

"This magnificent construction site is a symbol of Serbia's overall progress! Construction works on the Cortanovci Viaduct represent the largest railway construction site in all of Europe," Vucic wrote on Instagram profile.
He said that with certainty in October next year we will be able to travel from Belgrade to Novi Sad in half an hour (25 minutes fast train).

The total number of hospitalizations is 302, and 42 people have recovered from coronavirus, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said.

Premature Deaths Attributed to Pollution: Serbia Ranks First in Europe

Serbia ranks first in Europe in terms of the harmful effects of pollution, mainly from polluted air and the ninth worldwide, according to the results of a detailed study by the Global Alliance for Health and Pollution (GAHP).

In Serbia, an average of 175 people die prematurely as a result of the pollution they are exposed to, according to a study published in Blitz.
