The government has declared that all areas burned in recent wildfires will be reforested and also agreed on measures to prevent erosion and flooding, at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Athens.

Britney Spears’ Broadway musical to close after 3 months
In less than one month, the curtains are set to close on the colorful and hits-laden Broadway production, "Once Upon a One More Time," otherwise known as the Britney Spears musical. The show is set to end its run on Sept. 3, having only opened on June 22.

A guitar smashed on stage by Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain sold for nearly $600,000, several times its original estimate, an auction house said on May 20.
The busted black Fender Stratocaster has been put back together, but is no longer playable, Kody Frederick of Julien's Auctions told AFP earlier this month.

Top honors for Greek designer duo
Michalis Georgiou and Dimitris Stefanidis, the creative duo behind the Athens-based G Design Studio, have won the prestigious Boutique Design Studio of the Year accolade at the ADC Annual Awards in New York City, which this year celebrated 102 years of excellence in design and craft. The Greek designers also walked away with the top prize for Packaging Design for Dia Elis olive oil.

Prince Harry, Meghan in ‘near catastrophic’ car chase
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle were involved in a "near catastrophic car chase" with paparazzi in New York, a spokesperson for the couple said on May 17.
