E. Jean Carroll, 80, is seeking more than $10 million alleging that Trump defamed her in 2019, when she first made her assault allegations public, by saying she "is not my type."

Lana Del Rey to headline Coachella 2024
Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat and Tyler, The Creator will headline this year's edition of the Coachella music festival, organizers said on Jan. 16.
No Doubt, the group fronted by Gwen Stefani, which reached peak fame in the 1990s, will also reunite onstage at the festival for the first time since 2015, organizers said.

Archaeologists have discovered the largest and oldest network of pre-Hispanic cities ever found in the Amazon rainforest, revealing a 2,500-year-old lost civilization of farmers.
The vast site, which covers more than 1,000 square kilometers, was long hidden by the jungle in the Upano valley on the foothills of the Andes mountain range in eastern Ecuador.
Boots, Banksy, piano: Elton John puts items up for auction
Music icon Elton John has put a variety of personal items up for auction at Christie's in New York, including monogrammed silver leather platform boots, a grand piano and a triptych by street artist Banksy.
Most of the items come from John's former home in Atlanta, a condo on Peachtree Road that was recently sold, the auction house said on Jan. 11.
