Libyan Ambassador in Nicosia gets stabbed
Cypriot police authorities have unleashed manhunt in order to track a man of possible Arabic origin who earlier attacked and possibly injured the Libyan Ambassador in Nicosia.
According to protothema.gr sources, an unknown man knocked on the Ambassadors door and then attacked with a knife the person who opened the door.

Cars torched outside Cyprus banker's home
NICOSIA ? Arsonists torched two cars early on Tuesday outside the home of the head of Bank of Cyprus, who has overseen a major restructuring of the island?s largest lender, police said.
John Patrick Hourican ? a former Royal Bank of Scotland senior executive who joined BoC in October 2013 ? was out of the country on business at the time of the arson attack.

Cyprus eyes gas export pipeline to Egypt
NICOSIA ? Cyprus signed an energy deal with Egypt on Monday that could see the island supplying its Mediterranean neighbor with gas.
Cyprus is keen to exploit the Aphrodite field off its southeastern coast but the reserves proven so far are not considered sufficient to make it viable for the island to develop onshore export infrastructure of its own.
