19 Canceled Flights between Bulgaria and Germany due to the Strike at German airports

Due to the strikes at the German airports, 19 flights to and from the airports in Sofia and Varna have been canceled for today and in the early hours of tomorrow.

According to the information reported, the canceled flights are as follows:

12.10 p.m. - from Munich;

12.10 p.m. - from Hamburg;

9 more Turks die from coronavirus in Germany

With nine additional deaths in the past 24 hours, the Turkish death toll from the novel coronavirus in Germany surged to 109, local authorities said on April 24. 

The nine additional deaths were in Berlin, Hamburg, Nurnberg and Munich.

Germany has so far registered over 154,000 coronavirus cases and the death toll stands at 5,653.

Romania's Halep advances to Cincinnati Masters women's singles final

 Romanian tennis player Simona Halep, world number one, advanced to the women's singles final at the 2,874,299-USD Western & Southern Open tournament in Cincinnati (Ohio), after defeating Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka 6 -3 6-4 in Friday's semis.

Halep, 26, had a consistent play and prevailed in an hour and 16 minutes over 20-year-old Sabalenka, world number 34.

The 20th Turkish-German Film Festival kicked off in Nurnberg's Tafenhalle Culture and Arts Center.

The top goal scorer of Bulgaria's football champions Ludogorets Razgrad, Roman Bezjak, will cost EUR 2.5M for any club who wishes to buy him in the summer.

German media sources have informed that Werder Bremen is interested in signing the Slovenian striker. The other option along with Bezjak is Daniel Ginczek from Nurnberg.
